These Official Rules apply only to the giveaway period listed in Section 3. Each future giveaway will have its own Official Rules and dates.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor. Coastal Runners, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, Black Point Park & Marina, 24775 SW 87th Ave, Homestead, FL 33032. Contact: hello@coastalrunners.com, 305-842-1119.
2. Eligibility. Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 18 or older when they enter. Employees, contractors and crew of the Sponsor, along with their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings and their spouses) and anyone living in their household, are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
3. Giveaway Period. This giveaway starts [START DATE] at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) and ends [END DATE] (90 days after the start) at 11:59 PM ET. The Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper. These Rules cover this one giveaway period only. Entries received during this period are eligible only for this period's drawing. They don't carry over to any future giveaway, and entrants must enter again in each new period.
4. How to Enter. Go to [giveaway page URL] during the Giveaway Period and fill out the entry form with your name and email (phone is optional), then submit. That's 1 entry. Optional bonus entries: check the box confirming you follow Coastal Runners on Instagram for 1 extra entry, and on Facebook for 1 extra entry. Bonus entries work on the honor system. Following is never required to enter or win. Limit: one entry form per person and per email address during the Giveaway Period, for a maximum of 3 total entries. Extra forms from the same person or email won't count. Entries that are incomplete, made by script or bot, or submitted after the deadline are void. The Sponsor isn't responsible for entries that are lost, late or not received because of technical problems. Opting in to marketing emails is optional and has no effect on your chances.
5. Prize. One (1) prize for this Giveaway Period: one 2-Hour Boca Chita Trip, a private trip to Boca Chita Key in Biscayne National Park on the Sponsor's Mako 253, captained by Captain Pablo Treto, for the winner and up to 5 guests (6 total). Available weekdays (Monday–Friday) at available start times, weather permitting. Approximate retail value (ARV): $500. Total value of all prizes in this Giveaway Period: $500. The trip depends on weather, sea conditions and National Park Service rules, and the captain decides. Gratuity, fuel, National Park Service fees (including the Boca Chita docking fee), food and drinks, transportation and anything else not listed here are not included unless the Sponsor states otherwise in writing. All U.S. Coast Guard and Sponsor safety rules and the Sponsor's liability waiver apply, and every guest must sign the waiver before boarding. Alcohol is allowed only for guests 21 and older, in moderation.
6. Redemption. The prize must be booked and taken within 12 months of the date the winner is notified, on a weekday (Monday–Friday) at a start time the Sponsor has open, weather permitting. If the Sponsor cancels for weather or safety, the trip will be rescheduled inside the 12-month window. Anything not used by then is forfeited. The prize has no cash value, can't be exchanged for cash, can't be transferred or resold, and can't be combined with other offers or discounts. The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.
7. Winner Selection and Notification. On [WINNER DRAW DATE], within 3 days after the Giveaway Period ends, the Sponsor will draw one winner at random from all eligible entries received during this Giveaway Period. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. The winner will be notified at the email address used to enter and must reply within 72 hours of the notification being sent. If the winner doesn't reply in time, is found ineligible, or doesn't follow these Rules, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner will be drawn at random from the remaining eligible entries. The Sponsor may verify the winner's age, residency and identity. The prize will be awarded.
8. Winner's Name. For the winner's name, email hello@coastalrunners.com or send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Coastal Runners, LLC, Black Point Park & Marina, 24775 SW 87th Ave, Homestead, FL 33032, labeled "Giveaway Winner." Requests must arrive within 60 days after [END DATE]. The list is free.
9. Taxes and Publicity. The winner is responsible for any taxes on the prize. Where the law allows, accepting the prize means the Sponsor may use the winner's first name, last initial and city in giveaway announcements without further payment, unless the winner says no in writing.
10. Release and Limits of Liability. By entering, entrants agree to these Rules and the Sponsor's decisions, which are final on all matters about this giveaway. As far as the law allows, entrants release the Sponsor and its owners, captains and crew from any claims arising from entering the giveaway or accepting or using the prize. The Sponsor may cancel or change the giveaway only if fraud, technical failures or other problems outside its control compromise it. In that case, the winner will be drawn at random from the eligible entries received before the problem.
11. Privacy. Entry information is collected by Coastal Runners, LLC through its Wix website and used to run this giveaway and contact the winner. You'll only get marketing emails if you check the opt-in box, and you can unsubscribe anytime. The Sponsor doesn't sell your information. Questions: hello@coastalrunners.com.
12. Social Media Disclaimer. This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, entrants release Instagram, Facebook and Meta from all liability. Questions go to the Sponsor, not to Instagram, Facebook or Meta.
13. Governing Law. Florida law governs these Rules, including Fla. Stat. 849.094. Once this Giveaway Period starts, these Rules will not be changed.
