Meet Captain Pablo

Captain Pablo Treto holding two spiny lobsters in Biscayne National Park

I've spent my whole life on the water, and my love for it started on Blue Lake in South Florida, where I chased largemouth and peacock bass as a kid. That turned into a lifelong love of the water, fishing everywhere from the Gulf waters of Cape Sable in Everglades National Park to the deep blue waters of Bimini in the Bahamas. Today I know the waterways from Key West to Fort Lauderdale, and from Flamingo to the Bahamas, like the back of my hand.

I spent most of my 20s in hospitality, and it taught me that a great day is about more than the destination. It's about how you feel the whole way there. That's why customer experience comes first on every Coastal Runners trip. I guided for many years before I started chartering commercially in 2020, and I treat every guest like family.

When I'm not running trips, you'll still find me in Biscayne National Park, fishing, lobstering, camping, or spending a whole day at Billy's Point with friends and family in its magical, crystal-clear water. It's my favorite place on earth, and I can't wait to share it with you.
