Coastal Runners LLC ("we," "us") runs coastalrunners.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we only use your information to run your trip and stay in touch if you ask us to, and we never sell it.

What we collect

• Booking details: your name, email, phone number, trip date, group size, trip choices, the full names and ages of everyone in your group, and anything else you tell us (for example whether anyone will swim).

• Payment details: deposits and payments are processed by Square. Your card number goes straight to Square; we don't see or store your full card number. Square's privacy policy: https://squareup.com/legal/general/privacy

• Messages: anything you send us by email, text, phone, or our website forms or chat.

• Email signup: if you join our email list, your email address (and name, if you give it).

• Website data: our site is built on Wix, which uses cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and give us basic visit statistics (pages viewed, device type, general location, how you found us). How we use it

• To confirm and run your trip, and to contact you about it (meeting details, weather updates, changes).

• To take payments and handle refunds.

• To answer your questions.

• To send our email newsletter, only if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

• To understand how our website is used so we can improve it.

Who we share it with

We share only what's needed with the companies that help us run the business: Square (payments), Wix (website and bookings), Google (calendar and email) and our email newsletter provider. If you booked through another site (like GetYourGuide or Viator), that site's privacy policy also applies. We may also share information if the law requires it, or with authorities in an emergency on the water.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site, like booking, may not work properly without them.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records as long as we need them for our business and tax records. We keep booking records for up to 7 years for tax purposes. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@coastalrunners.com. We'll get back to you within 30 days.

Children

Kids are welcome on our boats, but our website isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information online. Parents or guardians make bookings for minors.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
